Bears vs Dolphins

Bears vs Dolphins: Chicago has had a week off and is no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Sunday they take on Miami at 1:00 p.m. Chicago don’t have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy a 3.5-point advantage in the spread.

After a week of no Chicago football, fans can once again tune in to see their beloved Bears try to extend their winning streak with a former Green Bay Packers wide receiver on the broadcast.

Where: Hard Rock Stadium

When: 12:00 p.m. CT

Referee Crew: Walt Anderson

Chicago might be getting used to good results now that the squad has three wins in a row. They steamrollered Tampa Bay 48-10. The oddsmakers were on Chicago’s side, but they didn’t give the squad enough credit as the margin was unexpectedly wide.

Last Sunday, Miami came up short against Cincinnati, falling 27-17. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Miami.

Chicago’s victory lifted them to 3-1 while Miami’s loss dropped them down to 3-2. In their victory, Chicago relied heavily on Mitchell Trubisky, who passed for 354 yards and 6 touchdowns. Miami will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.

The 3-1 Chicago Bears are looking to keep things rolling in Week 6 as they take on the Miami Dolphins. Sunday’s game in Miami will mark just the 13th time since 1971 that the Bears and Dolphins have played each other.

Sunday’s game will be an important one for Chicago with a game against the New England Patriots lurking in Week 7 at home. A win on Sunday will also help the Bears hold onto their lead in the NFC North. The Green Bay Packers are currently in second place at 2-2-1 with the Minnesota Vikings also sporting the same record. The Detroit Lions are now in last place with a 2-3 record.

Bills vs Texans

Bills vs Texans: The Buffalo Bills (2-3) recorded their second win of the season last week against the Tennessee Titans in a defensive struggle that came down to the final possession.

Bills rookie quarterback Josh Allen has struggled the last two weeks after a breakout game on the road in Week 3 against the Minnesota Vikings. Allen threw for 200 yards and a touchdown and added two more rushing touchdowns to lead the Bills to the 27-6 upset win.

The last time the two teams met, Houston came up short against Buffalo, falling 30-21. Maybe Houston will have more luck at home instead of on the road? Watch the contest and check back on CBS Sports for all the details.

The Texans are also 2-3 overall and an AFC foe, so the game could be a big win come playoff time.

But before all that here’s step one. All the info you need to keep up with the action:

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Houston ultimately got the result it was hoping for last Sunday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Dallas 19-16. Deshaun Watson was the offensive standout of the match for Houston, as he accumulated 375 passing yards and picked up 40 yards on the ground. Watson has been a consistent playmaker for Houston as this was the 4th good game in a row from him.

Meanwhile, their game two weeks ago wasn’t at all kind to Buffalo, but their most recent match may have softened the blow. They dodged a bullet, finishing off Tennessee 13-12.

Chargers vs Browns

Chargers vs Browns: The Chargers won their last match against Oakland, and it was the same story this time around. The Chargers captured a comfortable 26-10 win over Oakland. Among those leading the charge for the Chargers was Philip Rivers, who passed for 339 yards and 2 touchdowns. If you haven’t heard Rivers’ name lately, then you haven’t been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past five games.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Cleveland ultimately got the result it was hoping for last Sunday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Baltimore, sneaking past 12-9.

Their wins bumped Cleveland to 2-2-1 and the Chargers to 3-2. With a combined 872 yards in their previous games, we can expect a fast-paced game.

The Los Angeles Chargers (3-2) hit the road to take on the Cleveland Browns (2-2-1) on Sunday, October 14.

Start time: 1:00 p.m. ET
Location: Cleveland, OH

Again, the Browns stout defense will be put to the test — but so far, they keep rising to the occasion when facing a difficult challenge. Can they do it again here and improve to a mark of 3-2-1?

Tune in to cheer on your Cleveland Browns as they look to improve to 3-0-1 on the season at home. Next week, they travel south to take on Jameis Winston and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Steelers vs Bengals

Steelers vs Bengals: The Pittsburgh Steelers face a pivotal matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6, the team currently holding top spot in the AFC North with a 4-1 record. Falling three games behind a division leader would be a huge hole to climb out of with a tough schedule over the second half of the season, but the Steelers should be encouraged by a dominating away record in Paul Brown Stadium as of late.

Here’s what you need to know:

Who: Steelers vs. Bengals

What: NFL, Week 6

Where: Paul Brown Stadium, Cincinnati

When: Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018

Time: 1 p.m. Eastern

Line: Bengals -2.5

Pittsburgh have won their last five in a row in Cincinnati and are 10-2 there since Mike Tomlin took control of the team. Indeed, they actually own a slightly better record away from home than at Heinz Field, where the Steelers are 8-3 against them dating back to 2007.

However, after a number of changes to the coaching staff and along the offensive line during the offseason, the Bengals seem to have a different feel to them in 2018. Years of solid drafting have undeniably improved the backbone of what was always a soft Cincinnati roster and it would be fair to say the Bengals might not be quite the pushover they normally are this year.

The presence of Vontaze Burfict will remain a wildcard in this contest, capable of turning a football game into a brawl at any moment. Set to face JuJu Smith-Schuster for the first time since his crunching block last season that turned the linebacker into a meme, it should not take too long for Burfict to pick up his first penalty of the game.

Cardinals vs Vikings

Cardinals vs Vikings: Fans of the Minnesota Vikings are gearing up for what should be an interesting and hard-fought game at U.S. Bank Stadium against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6 of the 2018 NFL season on Sunday, Oct 14.

Sun 12:00 PM
Arizona Cardinals at Minnesota Vikings
U.S. Bank Stadium – Minneapolis, MN

The Arizona Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings, despite playing in different divisions, have been frequent opponents in recent seasons. The two teams have faced one another 25 times all-time, but Sunday will mark the eighth time in the last 11 seasons they have played and the third time in the last four seasons.

After two consecutive road games, the Minnesota Vikings head home to face the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium. Both teams are struggling but come off big victories, as the Vikings (2-2-1) pulled out a win over the Philadelphia Eagles in a rematch of the 2017 NFC Championship Game while the Cardinals (1-4) defeated the San Francisco 49ers for their first victory of the year.

The Cardinals have played in Minnesota a lot, as well. Sunday’s game in Minnesota will be the fifth time out of the last six matchups the Cardinals have had to play the Vikings on the road.

We asked Mr. Allen 5 questions about the game as well as one bonus question, covering everything from predictions, links between the team, and what to watch for. Let’s dive in by hearing about the Cardinals season so far!

Colts vs Jets

Colts vs Jets: The New York Jets (2-3) led by quarterback Sam Darnold, wide receiver Robby Anderson and tight end Chris Herndon meet the Indianapolis Colts (1-4) in an AFC matchup in NFL Week 6 action on Sunday, October 14, 2018 (10/14/18) at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The Colts, coming off a loss to the New England Patriots, are led by quarterback Andrew Luck and tight end Eric Ebron.

Here’s what you need to know:

Who: Indianapolis Colts at New York Jets

When: Sunday, October 14, 2018

Where: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey

Kickoff: 1 p.m. Eastern

Indianapolis will challenge the Jets on the road at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. With a combined 995 yards in their previous games, we can expect a fast-paced matchup.

Things haven’t been easy for Indianapolis, and their match last Thursday only extended their streak of losses to three. They took a 38-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of New England. A silver lining for Indianapolis was the play of Andrew Luck, who passed for 365 yards and 3 touchdowns. Luck has been a consistent playmaker for Indianapolis as this was the 5th good game in a row from him.

After close losses, the Colts lost by two touchdowns to New England last week, and they are trying to turn their bad luck around (no pun intended). The offensive line is improving, and the Colts look to bounce back from three straight losses.

That said, for the first time this season, the Jets walk into a game with the better team on Sunday. The Colts don’t have enough weapons for Andrew Luck that should scare the Jets, and Gang Green’s defense has found a pass rush.

Seahawks vs Raiders

Seahawks vs Raiders: The Seattle Seahawks are trying to remain within striking distance of the front-running Los Angeles Rams in the NFC West while the Oakland Raiders are trying to keep their playoff hopes alive in the AFC West. The NFL rolls into London this weekend with the first of three games to be held at Wembley Stadium as part of the NFL International Series.

What: Seattle Seahawks vs Oakland Raiders

When: Sunday, Oct. 14, 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET

Where: Wembley Stadium, London, England

TV: KPTV-12, FOX, DirecTV

First up, the Oakland Raiders return to London for the first time since a 2014 defeat against the Miami Dolphins to take on a Seattle Seahawks outfit that will be playing a regular season game outside of North America for the very first time.

The Seahawks are most definitely on the up. After a dodgy pair of defeats to open, wins over the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals have steadied the ship, and they took the LA Rams – the Super Bowl favourites – right to the wire.

For the Raiders, all eyes will be on running back Marshawn Lynch, who became a star and won the Super Bowl during his time at the Seahawks. He faces his former side for the very first time.

The match will be available to watch live on BBC Two and Sky Sports Action. During the match, BBC’s coverage will move to the red button, while Sky’s will continue on both its Action and Main Event channels.

Sky Sports subscribers can stream the match online via SkyGo and the SkyGo app, while BBC viewers will also be able to watch online on iPlayer and via the BBC iPlayer app.

Panthers vs Redskins

Panthers vs Redskins: The Washington Redskins (2-2) are back in action on Sunday when the Carolina Panthers (3-1) come to town in a pivotal early-season matchup for the Redskins. Washington, coming off a Week 4 bye, traveled to New Orleans on Monday night and were manhandled by the Saints, 43-19, in a game that was never close.

Quarterback Alex Smith was dreadful, missing open receivers all night and appeared hesitant in the pocket after getting hit early in the game. Washington rushed for just 39 yards on Monday night as Adrian Peterson finished with just six yards on four attempts.

The Panthers are coming off perhaps the most thrilling finish to a game in thus far in the 2018 regular season. As the New York Giants scored a late touchdown to take a 31-30 lead on the Panthers, quarterback Cam Newton led Carolina down the field for a desperation field-goal attempt by kicker Graham Gano. A former Redskin, Gano connected from 63 yards out as time expired to give Carolina a massive win to keep pace in the ultra-competitive NFC.

Washington, which has two impressive wins sandwiched by two ugly losses, really needs this game. The Redskins can ill-afford to fall to 2-3 on the young season by losing another game against a fellow playoff hopeful. A loss would also be Washington’s second home loss of the season.

After 15 days off, head coach Jay Gruden’s team didn’t look prepared in the ugly loss to New Orleans. After suffering a few injuries, Gruden didn’t have a full practice on Wednesday, instead opting for a walkthrough.

Texas A&M Aggies vs South Carolina Gamecocks Live

Obviously, Texas A&M has the edge here. South Carolina certainly isn’t the air-it-out and spread style team that the Tigers are. Texas A&M, behind the cannon of starting quarterback Justin Herbert, has the second most passing yards in the conference at a shade over 300.

NCAA College Football 2018 Game:

Texas A&M once again has the numbers advantage in this phase of the game. Behind a constantly rotating committee of running backs, Texas A&M can give defenses a myriad of looks on the ground game. South Carolina, on the other hand, is another good running team. I know they average less yards than Texas A&M, but they can’t be taken for granted — quarterback Chase Garbers included. You have to remember, this team has played overall stiffer competition than the Tigers.

It’s no secret that Texas A&M has the more potent offense of the two. With certain future Sunday regular Justin Herbert taking snaps, and CJ Verdell and Tony Brooks-James behind him, and Dillon Mitchell out wide, this Texas A&M offense has a plethora of weapons — enough to give any team fits on defense. If Texas A&M is firing on all cylinders, the Cal offense will have a tough time keeping up.

Here’s where the number begin to favor the Tigers. Their secondary has been sturdy and reliable thus far, but hasn’t faced a passer as elite as Herbert. Texas A&M’s secondary, on the other hand, has been a rather disappointing aspect of the squad. They cannot let Garbers get comfortable today.
